stay up late nights, late dreams, too late; confusion & mess,
mixed emotions, mixing recipes,
recipes for love, recipes for disastor,
disastors that make you, disastors that break you,
you scream, you shout, from rooftops, from streets,
flames, feelings, fall apart,
stick back the pieces; bluetack, sellotape, superglue,
superbad, supernaughty, naughty nights,
naughty hopes, desires, midnight wishes,
midnight smokes, drinks, poisons,
poisonous kisses and infectious lips,
insides shaking, trembling, breakdown,
wake up, make up (your face) and start all over again.

i slept in the cinema and cried over you.

there is always too much
all the time too much but
i manage to look like
i’m only ever sitting still
staring at the carpet
while i am shifting
constantly trying to
lessen the pain and
understand all the beauty
i can feel in each moment
but there is too much

where there is fire, we take gasoline
